Avoid practicing yoga on a full stomach.
Wear comfortable clothes. The more you practice, the more you'll know what works for you.
Blankets and blocks are provided, but I encourage people to purchase a mat that will suit their individual needs.
Arrive at least 5 minutes early, allowing yourself time to prepare for class. If you do arrive late, or have to leave early, please do so in a quiet manner as not to disrupt fellow students.
Remove shoes to practice.
Silence cellphone prior to the start of class.
Try not to compare yourself to others while practicing. Yoga is personal.
Practice often. While the benefits of Hatha yoga are often realized after one class, it's best to practice everyday.
